    Hi All,

Does anyone know what Tonneau Cover fits the 2021 SR5 Trail Edition?

Every cover I've found online either says "Excluding Trail Edition", and if it doesn't explicitly say it, it has the same mounting hardware as the rest.

    Any ideas?

    Many Thanks!

Does it have the same rail system as the rest of the Tacoma’s?

I think the inside bed rail dimensions are same as the rest the only thing you are loosing is actual bed space so any of them that fit Tacoma and attach to bed rail should fit. To bad your not in Ohio I have a nice one that was only on the truck for 3 months I have been trying to get rid of. Lol I would have let you try that to see if it fit for an idea

I do have the trail edition, stumped if I can put a toneau cover on it. Finally got to compare beds with my sons 2016 TRD. The difference between the truck's bed is the distance between the rails that the "clamps" mount on/in. The 2016 is 57 inches, trail edition the distance is 56 and 1/4 inches. The trail edition has the storage boxes UNDER the rails, distance smaller. I think this is the problem. I am considering taking one box out and see if that makesd a difference, to cold out to do that now.

I saw this thread was posted a few months ago and was curious if anyone has found a solution? Has anyone out there found a bed cover that fits the 21' SR5 Trail Edition without have to make any major modifications?

I made an account here just to let everyone know that if you have a trail edition taco, this tonneau cover will absolutely fit: TruXport - 16-21 Tacoma 5' | Truxedo.

I got mine from Amazon for around $270 ( in the title it said "Excludes Trail Edition" - sounds like false advertising), their website has it for $300. I have seen the trifold Truxedo cover also fitting on trail editions if that's preferred over a roll-up.

Hope this helps because i was looking for a while and there wasn't much information on covers that fit with the trail edition cooler boxes.

When the cover is rolled up, are you still able to get into the lockable boxes on the trail edition? Thanks!

Replace tweeters for Subaru plug n play kickers. Also replace front and back speakers with kickers. Added a Kenwood KSC-PSW8 250W Max (150W RMS) Single 8" Under Seat Powered Subwoofer Enclosure W/Remote Control. I went with Kenwood because it’s the same as JVC but cheaper.K&N reusable filters for engine & cabin
I thought I post this here and try to help someone out like I been helped before. I had the same questions everyone had about the “Tacoma Trail” listings say tonneau covers are not compatible with trail edition. I did not want loose my bed coolers-boxes just to put a cover. After viewing and comparing multiple YouTube videos and seeing the hardware I notice the roll covers were a match for my taco trail. So I was going to go with the Tyger T1 retail@ $227 but they been out of stock for awhile. I found “OEDRO” brand on eBay being the same as the tyger brand for $137 almost $100 less than tyger and that’s what I ended up getting. I recommend it and will be a perfect fit for a bargain.I included some pics for you guys to see and the link for eBay seller. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2657670306...Ohl99-1RyW&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Also your bolts aren’t in place or tightened down?
