Wondering if I can get some info from anyone who has relocated their fuse box from out of the engine bay because of an engine cage.

Its A LOT of work, we have done a few of them but be prepared for weeks of work. This is a Silverado we have here currently, we 3D printed a new fuse box surround that bolts the OEM fuse panel to the inside of the bed. There is a steel lid used for access inside the bed and aluminum panels that bolt to the outside of the bed and protect the wiring

Cut out what I could find for now to slim down the wiring to the fuse box. Mostly was abs and some airbag stuff. Would be nice to keep going and cut out unused stuff but this will do for now
I was left with basically these three connectors on the front end for lights and horns. Now if your still running the oem engine there’s more that is required to keep things running but you get the idea.

Decided to dig even further and realized I could cut down to 4 relays and 13 fuses. The 50 amp heater/jb/am2 fuses I’m gonna locate under the cowl and run midi fuses. The rest are going in this Eaton fuse box.

    So nice.

but sometimes steel is stronger in tension not compression. Maybe the reinforcement plates on the side of the bump can or even shock tower should be flipped , or bottom up so they are in tension.
