    I'm looking for the actual part number for the kit.

    includes electric plug, heating unit, and some kind of grease. ty wraps.

    I located some old posts on other forums but not able to isolate the correct part number.

    This is the newest part number that I found from a post in 2013.

    Toyota part number---0013-0213-00900 another number 00113-0213-00902

    Canadian part number PU140-00902. But this doesn't x ref to US part numbers, at

    least for the references that I have access to.

    I've called a dealer in a cold weather state, but they won't ship to Connecticut or verify the part numbers.

    Thanks in advance

    @GilbertOz

    Thank you for the info.

    It appears that the part number on the recall letter is for Canada only, the part number doesn't seem to work in the U.S. (xref)

    Any links for a good U.S. part number?

    Thanks again.

    No US part numbers came up in the 30 mins I spent searching on this, originally. Surprising, because one would think there is a need for block heaters in the upper US cold zones -- idaho, north dakota, minnesota, and esp. Alaska -- but no dice so far.

    It's a hypothetical topic of interest to me, currently I live in coastal CA where there's no need for block heating.. but I'd like to be prepared if I ever travel to (or move to) really cold countryside.

    OEM is crazy expensive and requires drilling. Go with "Zero start" or "Kat" block heater.

    The oem for 2013 was recalled and they aren't selling any right now for older models.
