I realize it’s not the same thing, but you can get the digital copy also. Personally I prefer the book but it’s a place to get the info. Also look for a hard copy of the Factory Service Manual (FSM), same info slightly different format.

Finding a hard copy of the FSM would be much more useful. If you understand their codes and have access to referenced SSTs or know how to substitute when possible.

Haynes is mostly good for fire starter.

Chilton has been weak for decades since the advent of computers and services like All Data were available to all shops.

But in all honesty, probably 95% of the work the average, or even above average, shadetree will ever attempt can be figured out intuitively or found online.

Unfortunately, the image of the Chilton Manual (link above) shows a big orange note on the front: PRINT EDITION ONLY! ... Seemingly dim prospects there.

Where would I get a download? At Haynes? Guess I'll call them. Thanks for the tip.

And thanks for the tip about the Factory Manual, I'll look around for that.

My experience with both on a variety of cars/trucks is that Chilton is better.

Here's the link for Haynes & Chilton manuals. I believe that they're one and the same these days. I use them mostly for fluid capacity's and torque specs personally.
