I have one of those Kemimoto "Chase" Lights which I plan on mounting to the rear of my bedrack.

It has 6 wires, including ground, for various functions in which I can tap into my brake lights. Fortunately, I see this and may acquire this: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/plug-and-play-brake-light-taps.707529/

Guys who've tapped into your brake lights, what's the best possible way in feeding wires into that area from the bed? I want it looking clean and tucked away.

I ran mine up through the bottom under the tail light.

That connector is cool. Wish I would have had that. I just cut into the factory wires. :anonymous:

I’ve only gone from taillights to the license plate and bumper.
If it were me maybe go through on of the cubbies with a small hole, run through a bed loop, zip tie up the bed rack. Always out of the way of ‘bed use’

I also recommend FBC. I run a few harnesses on both trucks for aux turns, brake and reverse
