I received mud guards front and rear for my 2023 Toyota Tacoma. PT345-35160, PT345-35161, PT345-35162, AND PT345-35163 are the numbers on them. When I went to install, I noticed they did not line up correctly with the body and had a gap. I'm talking the front of the vehicle. Also, they only sent 4 additional screws for the install, one for each guard.

On most videos I have watched on Youtube for the mud flap install, the Tacoma has a screw on the bottom front edge of the truck. My 2023 does not. It has a plug where a screw can go just like the one on the inside of the fender well to hold the guard in place. So, I'm like I need 2 more screws for the front.

The back of the truck has the underneath screws, but the body has a flared plastic piece where the guard goes and the mud guard, again, won't fit properly.

When I first went onto the Toyota accessories website to find mud guards for the truck I could not get my model year to pull up. My daughter, the one who got these for me, called the dealership and this is what they ordered.

It appears these are the wrong ones for the 2023 Tacoma. I'm going to reach out to the dealership and see what's going on. Any suggestions from Tacoma World? Thanks for your input.

make sure you received the correct flaps for your truck, it depends on whether you have fender flares, or not. guessing with you "not having enough fastening screws", you have a truck with no flares. the guards utilize the retainer screws, plus 1. Ski

Pictures would help but I believe there’s a difference in flaps due to the SR5 models not having fender flares as mentioned above.
