2020 TRD Off Road worked once after install nothing since

    So I followed the install video on the website and everything went well snapped all of the panels back on and tested out the remote start it worked like a charm I then headed up to the mountains for a snowboarding trip and tried it one morning then nothing.

    I just attempted to re-program a few times, I have had the alarm go off a few times and I've noticed the display light on the module is red.

    the lights will come on then the dash then it sounds like it going to start but then it all just shuts off and the headlights / internal dash lights will come on and then off a few times rapidly.

    Please advise, the truck is an automatic.

    Check to make sure the negative battery cable it tightened enough.

    If that’s not it, I have no other advice. Does sound like a loose battery cable though.

    @hyrule_trd just checked it, she's tight ... I'm wondering if maybe I have to tear all of the dash out again and check for a loose connection? I mean they all snap in so I feel like it shouldn't be that but who know's

    Sorry couldn’t help. Sounds like maybe something is loose. Start with the easier connections if you can…
    There is also a chance the battery is dead and it’s a coincidence. Might be worth it to try jump starting it…. It im not sure if that could cause issues with the concerns you have. Got a multi meter or anything where you’re at?

    Just looked it up and the battery is within the correct voltage on/off, thanks for the suggestions.

    Well it was a user error, opened up the steering wheel cover checked the male coupler there, pulled it out snapped it back in, BAM it's working now, it's odd it would still start with it not being fully seated but that was the issue.

    Tried it 3 more times and everything is working as expected now.

    Thanks @hyrule_trd for the suggestions, went and had my battery tested just for good measure
