A little something every chance we get.
:rain::pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Just sitting in the sunroom, and enjoying the passing showers with Rex the Dog. We have 1.3" so far, and radar says I have a few more hours to go. Works for me! Got one Dr. Appointment confirmed so far, going to set up the RAV4 for service and do nothing.

Mr. Snowy looks a lot like you Mike. I think it's the hat.

Thanks for more birthday wishes all! We do try to stretch things out around here....

Glad you got it taken care of. I hate water problems. With electrical stuff you get a tripped breaker. With water, you often find the problem after the damage. There is no breaker for run-away leaks and busted pipes.

Thanks Ken. She said she's sore, but not in the pain she was in before.

    Happy belated Birthday Kurt.

I finally got the registration taken care of. Whew.

Next, get the CRV "low tire pressure light" taken care of. 2021 Honda with a bad sensor. All four tires measure 31 PSI but get a low-pressure light—good excuse to buy another pressure gauge. I like the ARB style as "press to inflate, and button to deflate is easy to use; arthritis in my thumbs creates havic with little buttons.
    https://www.amazon.com/ARB-ARB601-Pressure-Inflator-Deflator/dp/B073RS57L5

I know the Honda dealer will give me the "just needed a little air excuse for tire pressures" I only wish the dash would display the pressure of each tire so I know what sensor is bad. Hmm, maybe I need a good excuse for a fancy scan tool.

A friend of mine is living in Argentina. I'm thinking of what to do once I retire; hmm, driving to Argentina would be an adventure (ya, there is a ferry crossing needed).

For some reason the "quote" button sends me back several pages.

There are some aftermarket TPMS devices available that do just that. I put one on my wife's RAV4 when I put snow tires on it. She liked them so well that she uses them all the time now.

What a handsome guy. Looks like he has the same hobbies as our cat Amigo.

X2 on the info. Looks like it is easy to use with shorter valve stems that are on my Toyotas. I am in the market for a decent tire pressure gauge.

Good morning, everyone. PT went well yesterday. Still have a little restriction when moving the arm in a side lateral movement. Since PT I can brush my teeth and comb my hair with no discomfort. Sounds silly but both activities do but a strain on the shoulder. Light day today with a lot of rain in the forecast so no grilling today. I was planning on doing a chicken, but a pasta dinner might win out tonight.

The ribs came out pretty well yesterday. I also did string beans in a new recpie.

Winter storm today here in Michigan. 6 to 8 inches of heavy wet snow. I'll actually have to start the snowblower for this one when I get home from work.

:pccoffee:  sixtys/wannabes/tire inflaters. I bought a DeWalt battery powered inflater because I have their batteries. It's a bit loud but it works well. Pressure gauge is within a pound of my fancy tire gauge, good enough for me. You set the pressure you want, turn it on, it turns off by itself. Handy.

That system is due here any minute. It stretches from the Gulf of Mexico almost to Montreal! Big fella. Stay safe out there folks.

A lot of guys I know on motorcycle forums are using the FOBO TPMS systems. It's pretty simple, just replacement valve stem caps that connect via Bluetooth to a wirelsee display.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Total success in doing nothing yesterday. Gathered 1.5" of nice rain, got all the Doctors to give up appointment times, got the RAV4 service with FREE oil change scheduled, and even got Ryobi to send me the little battery cover for my new grinder that went missing (rubber bands in the future).
Going to run an errand later, and probably take Litttle Big Red for an oil change. Cold mornings and chilly days, so probably not much more than that!

Plug "aftermarket tpms" into your favorite search engine. Or do it at Amazon. We bought ours thru Amazon. Prices range from over $300 to what we paid, around $50.

I really, really like my TPMS that I'm NOT using. They work really well and they are invisible, extremely cheap, and very reliable. All I have to do is pay attention to how the tire looks and drives... and if the tire needs air I use a gauge and fill them. I figure I have to adjust tire pressure in a tire about twice a year and while I'm doing it I check the other tires. Otherwise I don't really worry about tires except for the amount of tread left on them.

Worrying about TPMS sensors is just one more complication in my life that I don't really need.
