Anybody from North Louisiana?

Looks like you’re pretty easily recognizable.

I initially wanted a pro because I just love the overall look but I had to wait too long, so I got an offroad instead.

 

Yeah, mine is ok. Wanted one similar to what you have there(yours looks great)
but im a poor boy, so the cheaper/base model it was!


Im usually around the SE side of town as i live in that area. (near Youree@E.70th)
I work nites and weekends so i dont get to
“go out” or hang with folks very often.
I do try to go grab a coupla’ beers every
blue moon at a bar&grille somewhere tho.

Ive wondered if any folks ever do a
meet & greet or “cruise night” type of thing where folks with like model vehicles meetup at say .. side area of a Sonic parking lot,
and talk, showoff their rides, etc.

I lived in Dallas many yrs ago,
and was in a Camaro/Firebird Club where we did that every 3rd Weds of the month.
It was cool as we’d meetup, chat for a few,
then pick a place to go have drinks at the bar.
Casual stuff. Basically just a social event.
About twice a year we’d go to one guy’s house that had several acres just outside the
city limits and do a bonfire and talk cars,
trucks, knives, guns, etc. The good things in Life.

 

I have all my stock parts that I’ve taken off and willing to give them to you as a bundle for cheap if you can tell me what you’re willing to spend. I’m pretty reasonable. I honestly just want to get rid of them all since I live in a small apartment right beside Tinseltown haha they’re all just laying in my dining area like they’re furniture lol

I wish we had a Taco meet. That would be awesome. Or just a truck meet in general with everyone having mutual respect for different builds, etc

but im looking to stay stock, other than the wheels i bought + the tailgate letters that are coming.
Im not gonna do anything else to it. (or i dont plan on it). I guess im just gonna be a
boring-Taco guy, lol. No taller tires,
nothing xtra, etc.

I bet someone in the SBC area would be interested.
Or if someone within a certain distance, but would drive and meet u 1/2way.. something like that. (if u feel comfortable with that kind of arrangement)

A Taco meet would be good.
And i agree, an Any-Build/Make truck meet
would be cool too.
Ive owned 2 Chevy Silverados and liked them.
Maybe come warmer weather, a few of us can possibly try it.. see if others locally are interested

 

They’re just the stock TRD Offroad parts so when I find time, I’ll try to list them around. Kinda scared to sell online because of scams lol

Id consider listing them here,
in the TW North La section.

Also listing them in a SBC - general chat
board online maybe.
possibly someone local would meet you with cash.

Not sure if Toyota dealer themselves may be interested??
Maybe call Yokem right up the street..
see if they would but them.
(all they can say is no, lol)

 

Nothing Earth-shattering,
but finally got my letters in.. took just over a month to receive them from TacomaLifestyle.

I put them on about an bour ago. Had em’ mailed to my folks’s house over behind LSUS.

Only took me about 20mins to put them on.
Took my time.
I think they look good.
We will see how they stay on.. as it is supposed to rain in the morning, lol.

 

It looks good! Painters tape and put saran wrap over it if you want to play it safe haha
