Hello everyone, just put brand new 2piece shaft on 2008 Taco, running smoothly but when placed in reverse and press gas firmly there is a loud extended chirp. Does not occur when slowly backing up and it does not persist but it conts to occur. Ideas?

Double check the torque on the bolts? Almost sounds like after driving forward, then switching to reverse and giving it some gas, it's shifting. Giving me the impression the chirp is metal on metal. But iirc, the tolerances were pretty tight on the oem shaft. Is this aftermarket?

After market, i did not have a torque wrench, i just beared down. Any idea on the specs. I think it could be the bolts on the carriage bearing shifting

torque spec guide here. Not sure what truck you have, didn't look to see if there was a difference in specs.
