After finding the used Warn M8000 I was considering buying was in much worse condition than advertised, I ended up picking up a Badlands Apex 12K. While checking the cabling, I discovered that the leads don't fit the Blue Sea 6006 (leads have holes that are too small for the studs). Fortunately, the winch kit includes a disconnect switch with a bolt pattern matching that of the Lambtek mount, so I'm going to give that a go for now. Hopefully I can find some time tomorrow to pull the bumper and get the winch on there.



(Also, yes, I know that I need to clean my engine bay.)

 

Hate to hear it on the Warn but I’ve seen those Badlands go through some abuse, so I don’t think you fared too bad

Awesome that the switch lines up with the bracket.

Unfortunately some of the winches come with smaller diameter lugs so they may require some modification to work with the Blue Sea switch as outlined in the instructions:

Yeah, I was getting ready to grab my drill and a step bit and then I thought "wait, does this switch fit?" Pretty convenient.

Recently ordered this but it was either lost or stolen even though it says delivered on UPS. Anyone know how to go about this with the process?

 

Report through UPS with the tracking number.
Note, sometimes the driver will scan and show delivered even if they didn’t complete their route that day and then get it out on a later day. Other times they drop it at the wrong location by mistake. So there is some hope you might see it.

@Gilmorec61 - I have 2 x 12V AGM batteries. I want the option to connect both batteries together if I need that additional kick for my winch. Can this bracket also fit a Blue Sea 6007 switch for that purpose?
