Do you have any experience with Deavers? I'm torn between stage 1 and 2 with a DCLB and leer canopy

    Whole lotta stuff
If you just have the canopy only, stage I. I ran stage II for the majority of last year with canopy only, it’s on the stiff side. If you have a bumper, swingout, spare and the canopy, go for the stage II.

Thanks for responding. Any chance you can remember hub to fender ride height when you had the stage 1? Around 23.0-23.5" or so?

I've never ran the stage 1s, only had the stage 2s. But these springs like weight on them. Deaver's weight estimates are for the most part accurate. If you have less than 400lbs of added weight, stage 1, 400-600lbs, stage 2s, anything over that you gotta go with the stage 3s.
