Looking for a rooftop case

Hello,

I'm having a bit of trouble finding good options outside of Roam for rooftop cases. Any other suggestions on brands out there?

Appreciate any ideas or pictures of yours that you like!

 

I just bought a Apache 9800 from Harbor Freight. Gonna just drill through the bottom to mount. $129 on sale currently as opposed to like $400+ for a Roam and its mount.

 

I'll 2nd the Apache case from HF. Def worth the price tag.

 

edit: Does drilling through it cause any concern around it being weather proof?

Thanks, does that one come off and on somewhat easily? IE, not drilling but could be mounted on the roof or over bed rack?

 

I drilled through. Mounted both cases in all 4 corners and followed up with RTV. No issues with leaking or any type of water intrusion.

However there is no quick or simple way to get them off and on. I beleive ROAM Is the only one offering a mounting solution like that.

However, with 20% off coupons and stainless hardware I've got less than $250 in both of these. Cant even get close to a ROAM case for that number.

And I have owned both.
