Is there a way to secure a Jerry can or NATO gas can or other 5 gal gas can in the bed, upright, and under a soft tonneau cover?

Is there a way to get at the rails. Drill a hole and slide in a eye bolt. Use a "Spring Nut " minus the spring, just snap it off for inside the rail.

A Unistrut nut. They also make a smaller tie point that is good for 100 ibs from Toyota. Just drill a hole to get at the rail. I'm assuming it's like mine with a steel cover over the rails for the tonneau cover mount.
