Upper intake manifold spacer - $145 shipped

Just looking to see if there’s interest in it. I’ve been running one on my truck for 4 years, and also made one for @Shadowhunter & a couple others. I came by another spare intake manifold and can machine another spacer if anyone is interested. Specs as follows:
- 18mm thick for notable power band shift, but still able to close hood with engine cover on.
- OEM gasket
- ABS plastic construction minimizes heat soak
- you source longer mounting bolts
- surge tank brackets need to be modified like any other IM spacer install

Third gens need it more than second gens IMO, not many people with a 6 speed 2nd gen that have the OTT Torque tune I can talk too.
Honestly I just need to nut up and buy a SC

 

I would put mine up against that one all day long, even at night too. Mine seals better because it uses OEM gaskets, is ~4mm thicker for more pronounced effect and lighter. Plastic also reduces heat soak, and six stainless steel bolts from your local hardware store won’t bridge the ~$100 price difference.

That said, I’m not mass producing these, and I’m sure the thing you linked works just as stated! I’m only offering ONE because I have a spare intake manifold from a supercharger install. Fine by me if nobody wants it. I can just sell the manifold on flea bay.

 

You can do it for half if you find a local with the HP Tuner dongle. Just buy the 4 credits at $50 a pop plus whatever JustDSM charges for a tune file. Or just mail him your ECU if you can have your truck down a few days

 

So you're telling me that Paul makes 300 bucks a pop off of these tunes? Jesus.....

 

idk who Paul is, but the HPtuners dongle was like $300ish, and that’s a one time purchase. The credits need to be bought for each calibration ID, but after that you can reflash your truck as many times as you want
