Looking to re-upholster my front bucket Tacoma Sport Seats (fake leather). I really don't want to go the Seat Cover route, anybody recommend a place in New Jersey. Thanks

It’s not fake leather sir. The middle part where you sit is real leather, bolsters and back of seats are pleather.

Does nobody else smell leather when they get in their trucks with premium package? :)

Google some shops in your area and check out anyone who might be moonlighting on craigslist or something. Any shop will want to see your seats first so just stop by and take a look but be willing to spend. I grew up in my uncles upholstery shop in VA but I just paid almost $2,000 to have a bench seat covered out west on a square body chevy. Material has gone way up! If you have good foam it is not hard to replace the covers, just need some hog ring pliers and you can order the OEM or go the Katzkin route or similar. If you ever find your way around Charlottesville VA I can send you my cousins info. He runs the shop now.

This is what almost $2k will get you in NV nowadays. My uncle would have done a seat like this for $100 back in the day.

Not to get off topic on a tacoma forum but I'm a huge squarebody fan. I own several myself.
I love the interior on your truck.
We're your Dash & door panels made locally or did you find them online?

They do, but it’s very difficult to fit the covers onto the seat cushions without it looking like ass.(pun intended) I went through that with my passenger seat. I wish I never let the dealer touch my seat, lesson learned.

Find a local upholstery shop that specializes in hot rods and such.

Check out the katzkin thread. They replace your factory setup. They are not covers over existing but replacements.

The whole interior looks great, but wow, 2000 for the seat alone. I have a 1978 F150 and you are right--100 dollars to cover the bench seat many years ago.
