Got a mismatched / two tone topper and truck? It's the best way!

Just got my mismatched setup this weekend. I am liking it a lot.

Best I could find is two trucks next to each other. Doesn't look like it would clash too badly.

I just ordered a black ARE shell for my LR today! Do you know what "black" that is?? My topper dealer said they can only do gloss black and am worried the gloss might stand out. Yours looks great though

 

Door needs rebuild, needs clamps, and rhino lined but for $700 not bad!

 

Sorry for the delayed response, it’s a gloss black. I believe it’s ARE’s paint to match for the black taco. I’ll post a picture of the data plate for the topper with the paint code. Hopefully that helps.

 

I know leer will let you choose any color as long as you give them the paint code. I'm pretty sure ARE does the same. My 2nd generation is metallic Grey and I ordered the 3rd Gen metallic black for my topper.

You can always call and ask for the paint code they put down

 

The $700 camper shell is hurculined, rear door ordered and en route!

I’m in the club now! The canopy is some knock off Leer 122, made by a Canadian company called Canopy West. Price was right and it’s carpeted!

 

Got mine yesterday, had to drive all the way down to the border but it was only $500 on the marketplace.

ARE V series with fold down/slider front window


Girlfriend says it looks like a Smurf but it reminds me of the old Voodoo Blue FJ Cruisers with the white roof.

 

Finally found a shell for a good deal, have been looking since I got this truck. All of the ones I’ve wanted have sold to quick. Excited for the vented windoors. I had planned on painting or wrapping it. But the two tone is starting to grow on me.

Thanks and it’s a ranch . Not sure on the exact model, buts it’s got vented windows and fold down front window. Also seems better made than the are on my second gen.

 

Obviously very sunfaded. Thinking of rhino lining.
