I have been looking for a bottle of that for months!

You used to find it on any shelf in a liquor store, now post pandemic you can’t find so many bourbons.

I love Eagle Rare. Got me a bottle of Knob Creek 15 yr here recently and thats almost gone.

 

Bought myself a bottle of 20year Pendleton for new years. It’s nice

 

Work out at home. As much as I would like to get a membership It annoys me having to wait for equipment to free up because someone is busy on tik tok and IG posing. Anyone recommend a good compact leg press machine?

Changed gyms a while back Because owner at previous gym is a dick. New gym opening up around March so I’ll be moving to that one eventually. Cant Get super motivated to lift heavy in the current gym. Been there since April-ish of last year. Found out we’re having a kid in June. I was 153 at the time. 178 today. Just forced myself to start lifting heavy again a little over a month ago. Hit a 415 squat (PR) and 475 dead (5 lbs short of a PR). I’m a fatass, but at least I’m strong-ish (for me, anyway)

Solid weights man! I've only been going since June, getting back in shape. Didn't get my single PRs tried yet, just doing sets 3-4 reps with 350 squat, 415 DL. Kinda too lazy to check singles right now since less than a year of lifting after a long break...
Ordered new running shoes( called inov8 , never heard about those, but looks okay and overall good reviews, so giving it a shot) and going to get back into morning running in a few weeks.

 

I still lift

Did trap bar deadlifts the other day at 235#; unweighted 1/2 squats, and some really poor bulgarian split squats. I hate legs day lol.

I’m only 5’8”. And all that extra 25 lbs is in the belly

 

quit drinking beer/alcohol and eating carb snacks. For the record, I don’t currently follow that advice but did at one time and lost unwanted fat in my mid section. I’m 6’2” and about 198lbs and can definitely “pinch and inch”. As long as my belly doesn’t hang over my belt buckle when I’m sitting at 90 degrees…it’s not a problem.

 

I’m 5’9” and some change…. 202 and know about belly…
I’m decently strong for 41 but the belly has always been a roller coasters for me since shortly after high school

Im trying to make it down to 190ish and not lose much strength.

This spring i need to reclaim my domain. Gave up my weight room for the wife in spring 2021 to have a bedroom there because spine surgery forced her to live on one floor. Winter is a bitch sleeping upstairs since there's no heat there so I'm letting it be for the moment.
