Remove the chuck and put it back on straight. That will eliminate most of the runout. Assembled by morons.

You may already know and don't care....and I probably would feel the same about a cheap-o drill press / drill chuck...

But a drill chuck isn't really made for side pressure like that. Light milling maybe. If it's already running out, out of the box then ya got nothing to lose.

But again, it's probably sub $20 for a new one, so....F it :)

Well aware it'll never be super accurate, but just cutting some things or clearancing some parts, it'll do good enough.

I've had one for at least 5 years, still kicking. I use it mostly for processing brass, and when i need to drill a quick non exact hole in stuff.

It's cheaper than those "brass prep" doo dads that reloading companies sell.....

The 5 drawer cart is on sale for $259 right now. Just picked one up in slate grey, with the matching shelf.

Wife got me one of these for Christmas, also gray, I love it. Not too big, not too small, just what I need. She's pulling her hair out with all the new tools I've bought to fill it though LOL

Unrelated, not sure if the sale is still on but they had a tranny jack for $179 (last week?) It was all I could do not to pick it up haha

Received one of those free offers yesterday in the email, 4 free microfiber cloths no purchase necessary. Handy if you're doing small paint jobs. We were out yesterday too but wife didn't want me to go in, she knew I'd buy something expensive. We bought her a new sewing machine instead LOL! <marks his "buystuff" scorecard for next time>

Mine didn't either. I asked at the register and they offered me 1 of 3 other replacement items free though. I got a 4" mini clamp or there was a rope bundle and I forget the 3rd item..

I've wanted this for a bit. I received the "we miss you" 25% off coupon. Went to the store and they had it on instant savings for $190. Walked out the store for right around $155. Works for me!

A buddy of mine uses an HVLP sprayer from HF to paint his 240sx on a whim every now and then.

Funny you mention that @Slashaar , I was contemplating getting one of the airless sprayers and then ordering Steel It
in the gallon cans instead this time. It would also allow us to prime before paint as well.
