Steel tube was delivered yesterday. I'll take it to work tomorrow and cut/paint it so I can strengthen the desk where the monitor clamp attaches.
I think I need to buy 4 new cables. I'll double check today. I did get a lot done yesterday. Another stop at the hardware store today.

No rush, won't need it for awhile. It's the Lexus plug with the 14mm "nut" that replaces the Tacoma front diff plug with the 10mm female hex.
I'll pay you next time I see you

Still messing around with my desk. About to order cables (from Monoprice) once I figure out what I need. I ordered

$8 3M VHB 100x200mm~ (4" X8") Double Sided Foam Adhesive Sheet Tape 5952 Automotive Mounting Industrial Grade Very High Bond 5952 (1 Sheets 100x200mm)

3M VHB double sided tape and cable clips to hide the wires.
Still some work to do. It should be done by the end of the week if stuff gets shipped quickly.

98% gaming, 2% home office. The keyboard and speakers you see in that picture are for the mini PC attached to the back of the center display.
I'll be installing Windows 11 on that when I'm done. Then it will be 100% gaming on the main PC and work stuff on the mini PC.

Needed cables are ordered except for the RCA's (rear speakers), a power cable for the printer and one for the shredder. Looking for those on Amazon.

edit: just needed to order RCA's. I was able to rearrange stuff for the other power cables I needed.

Did an oil change on the wife's Civic Saturday and it reminded me why I prefer to do that kind of stuff myself. That car has had every oil change done at the dealer where we bought it except for one I did a couple of years ago at home. It's supposed to have 2 screws and 6 quarter turn fasteners holding the "splash shield" on that covers the engine and trans. I found 1 screw, crossthreaded half way in, the other screw missing, and 2 of the 6 quarter turn fasteners missing. For the crazy amount of money they charge for an oil change, they could at least give a half a shit about the quality of the work they do. Guess I'll be doing the oil changes myself from now on.

 

Parts are ordered.
