    back to bone stock.
admittedly, i was listening in on an online Zoom Meeting. (ear pods). i ducked into the dealership to buy a couple of oil filters and drain plug washers. i apologized to the counter guy, and he gave me a thumbsup.

i just pressed my CC to the machine, listened for the beep and ran off with my stuff and reciept. i was tossing the reciept into the trash, but looked at it before i did. WOW!!! that tiny washer was $3!!!!

i think his thumbsup meant..."hahhahah..you just paid $3 for a washer".

    :D i feel dirty. hahahhahahha...

My dealer gave me a couple of those free when I bought an oil filter for like 6 bucks or so.

Not enough bandwidth on the internet to list.
Getchya one of those Fumoto valves and not worry about it again. You can spend all your extra time and money saved right here arguing over what oil to use and whether you should have a Fumoto valve!

My dealer has them taped to the top of the D3 oil filter box.
$6 out the door for both.

Yeah I got and installed one of those, then realized I needed to buy a three hundred dollar skid plate to protect my 23 dollar fumoto valve.

Take that, overpriced three dollar washers!!!

Not sure how I feel about the Fumoto valve. Read a thing on here of a guy who starved his engine of oil after snagging his fumoto valve on a rock or something off road.

Correct. However it’s still an additional point of failure.
