Might be easier to disconnect the drive shaft from the trans.

Which is why 'overlanding' gear is so obtuse and unnecessary, lol.

Been a while for me. I was originally like I'm sure alot of folks and was waiting for the 2024s, but then I lost my 2005 back in September and couldn't decide what to do. Working from home 3 days a week bought me some time, but I eventually caved and had to find something. Used prices suck lately and eventually I realized I could save a significant chunk of cash by purchasing out of state and bringing a truck home. So I picked up a black 2WD SR5 from the nice folks up in Maryland, lol. Delta skymiles plus $5.60, a taxi from the airport, and I was on my way after finishing paper signing. Happy to be back!

This was last year but to get what I wanted I had to buy it from CA and have it shipped here. Cost me an extra $2k but I got what I wanted. Someone screwed up the paperwork though and it took forever to get my tag cause the title was for CA instead of GA.

Considering buying a set of wheels and putting strictly road tires on them, in an attempt to improve MPG and ride quality. I have the Goodyear Wrangler A/Ts that come stock on the trail edition. Think it's worth the hassle of changing wheels anytime I want to go off-roading?

Sounds like a pain tbh, but I'm lazy and also don't want to have to buy and store a second set of wheels and tires. Maybe if my offroad set were 33" M/Ts and I ran 30" H/Ts for daily, but that seems like a lot of tire swapping, at least for me.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

a lot of bad ass stuff
For anyone who has dealt with removing unwanted small trees and saplings, I’ve got a small area of land that i need to clear of unwanted saplings. If I choose to cut them flush with the ground, what is best and easy to use herbicide that will soak in and kill the root system so the saplings do not regenerate?

I wanted to get ride of a couple trees. I just dug around them and cut them below the level of the surrounding dirt. After cutting them I drilled holes into the stump and poured rock salt into it. Then I put dirt back. You can't even tell a tree was there.

I need a 2nd Gen passenger side LCA or if you have the replacement bushings for them. I am working on a truck and the cam bolt sleeve is stuck stuck in there and I have tried everything. I need to get this truck out of my garage. Thank you.

I have an old one that is waiting to be rebuilt. You can borrow it until you fix yours, if you want.
