ARB front bumper. Aftermarket Rear bumper
    Hello all.

New to this forum and this is my first post.

I have a 2011 Tacoma. Original owner. 4-door Longbed. 150k on the odometer.

ARB front bumper, after market rear bumper and steps/rails on the sides. I might add an expedition rack.

I still have my original shocks and it is time to replace them. Looking to see what the good options are.

I have no plans on lifting this truck. I take it on forest service roads/logging roads but that is about as off-road as I get.

I camp out of the truck (No camper. I just throw my equipment into the back). I do haul building materials pretty frequently though. Pretty much every week its loaded with lumber, cement or some other load.

I don't use this truck for towing anything.

Looking to see what the options are besides going back to stock equipment.

    Thanks.

Bilstien 5100s are a decent, affordable option.

    Welcome aboard!

Bilsteins are top-rated shocks, and 5100s are the choice if you think you'll ever lift it. If you will keep it stock height, Bilstein recommends their 4600 series.

    Part numbers for 4600s: Front p/n 24-325462, rear p/n 24-186056.

Either choice will be a great upgrade from your stock shocks, especially with 150K on them.

I'll add this from a previous thread so you'll know I'm not just blowin' smoke: :D

When I contacted Bilstein, this was their reply:

"If you want to keep your truck at stock height then we would recommend our B6 4600 shocks. These shock have been tuned to the stock suspension. Our B8 5100 shocks are tuned to be used at a lifted ride height when the front shock is used to level the truck. Our best riding driving shock at the stock height will always be our B6 4600. Neither shock is more durable than the other and both are great for light off road and towing."

Could search locally for a set of low mileage take offs from a 3rd gen. If planning to keep it stock that would be a great less expensive option.
