    Hello all,
I am currently planning on upgrading my stock grill to a trd pro grill. I wanted to get recommendations on which brand I should go with. There are a bunch online and all have varying price ranges. Thank you for the input!

Honestly I am set on using the OEM part as the finish tends to be of higher quality to me. It can be had for around $200 and get an aftermarket garnish for about $50. I installed the Trail Edition grille a couple months ago along with a garnish from The Taco Garage with no issues.

    Pro Grille (Silver Letters:
    PT228-35170
    Trail Edition (Bronze Letters):
    PT228-35220-AA

I put on an OEM Pro grille in 2017. Still looks brand new. One more vote for OEM.

I put my OEM grille on Sept 2016. Looks like day one, plus a few bugs. I vote OEM

Not OEM but I bought one from Yotaverse, and it looks very nice. It was $180 and garnish included, it's getting installed this week. I looked for an OEM grill for a while, no luck for me. The garnish was available but way out of my price range.

+1 for OEM grille & garnish.

I had the Tacogarage setup for about 5 minutes and sent it back - the quality was terrible.

Yes, it will fit '16-23. You will need the garnish plate as well.

Yes, you have the TSS currently mounted behind the Toyota emblem on the grill. It would be moved down to a lower position and the garnish covers that area.

This. I got mine directly from my local dealer for ~$200.

The garnish is where they get you though. That piece cost even more from Toyota. I miss when they were $50.

My apologies. I should have done a little research before posting. When I purchased my Trail grill this past November the dealer I went through had the Pro for $230. I paid $190 for my Trail grill. They are both the same design with the difference being the colors of the letters.

I’m getting one from them this week, hopefully that’s not the case for me. I’ve purchased one from them a couple of years ago and the quality seemed pretty good but obviously not oem.

    - looking for lower bumper grill that actually protects rad from small rocks. I put metal screen on my 2nd gen and had a rock dent it and break the plastic in behind it. I assume that would have done some damage to the rad if I had not put the mesh in. I will do the same on my 2018 unless I can find something other than decorative plastic. It only take one rock and it's happened before. I actually drive on gravel roads and also winter "sanded" roads with pea gravel size rocks. Windshield lasts two years if I'm lucky. Flat jeep window last one year...if I'm lucky. Need gavel protection not decoration.
