With that said, it was nice taking it for bit of a drive testing the power steering with all new components.

Went on one last trip before the baby comes with @eon_blue

We were stoked to hit up the OHV in the snow but it wasn't until that morning that the parks decided to close.



After an hour of driving and checking out a bunch of spots we finally ended up on Edison land.



Ain't camping or wheeling without some good food.



Scenery was freaking beautiful.





Dex on the otherhand wanted to leave his own mark.



More good food.







Next outing will be with Theo!

 

Had made a little progress to the bumper about a week ago.

Really, it's been mostly done for the longest with the exception of some minor supports and finishing the arm.

Making use of some 1/4" plate since I've got tons of it.



I understand that the "mount" would be best suited as going against the face of the frame but the holes are simply holes. No weld-nut to thread a bolt through, and the holes do not go through the frame.

In fact, the weld-nuts are on the inside and threaded so I made use of those. That and going the other way would require me to cut into the body.

I'll gusset the inside a bit more and figure I'll cut the exhaust and do the same for the other side.

Welcoming our new baby boy Theo!

Born earlier today at a healthy 9lb and 3.5oz!

 

as the parent of a 3 year old there are times I question this, but the overarching feeling is one of agreement

 

Did I ever tell you?

My neighbor, and his neighbor (so both houses to our right) are having a baby girl.

One due this month, the other next month.

 

have fun with those teenage years lol

 

I mean let's be real, I'm dreading the teenage years too. and now we have another on the way so at one point I'll have 2 teenagers under the same roof. FML

 

I had a 'best friend' that was a girl at like 7 years old.

Laura was her name, and she'd come over to play Nintendo. In fact, she taught me that you can control the ducks in duck hunt with a second controller!

Anyway at that age, it's all young and innocent.

But yeah, teenager...fuck.

I'm hoping the nearly 4 year age gap between them will help keep that to a minimum, my younger brother and I didn't fight much except when we were both under 12...he's 5 years younger than me. But the REAL fighting was between my sister and I when we were teenagers, because there's only 2 years difference there. So we would butt heads and trade punches (literally) on everything
