My dealership brushed it off multiple times saying it's normal. Did you find anywhere that fixes it with a good aftermarket replacement?

I’ve replaced my needle bearing a few years ago. It’s a mid level DIY job. I
replaced the oil seal while I was in there.

Take the truck to an independent shop who will install the ECGS bushing. Call around. You can order the bushing yourself and borrow install tools and provide all to the shop. Or do it yourself if able.

There’s got to be a shop on the island that’s done this a few times.

I've done over 20 of them. Most off road shops can handle it for you. I wouldn't trust this to just anyone, if not replacing it yourself. As simple as some make it seem, the repair can easily go sideways.

Looking to have this done on my ‘23 when it arrives from Servco. Willing to pay somewhere here who is experienced and can do it for me. Thanks!

I called MJ but they said they cannot do it.

Got my ecgs bushing install done today. I took my time and got it done in about 2 1/2 hours. Those who are mechanically inclined should have no issues getting this job done with all the tutorials out there. Stock needle bearing came out pretty easily and didn't break on the way out. I did modify the tool a bit to help it get behind the bearing easier.

Glad to hear man! I’m still in the hunt for someone to do mine since I’m not mechanically inclined whatsoever. I called MJs and they don’t do them. Would you be willing to do mine if I compensated you?

I live on big island, unfortunately, so i cant help you out... but theres gotta be a shop that does it over there. Does mj have another shop do the bushings or do they just not do add them to their builds? Try find guys on Instagram or something from oahu that have lifts and ask if they have it done and where they did it. There's one shop i know of on big island that does it and they charge $350

Ah no problem brother. MJ does lots of taco lifts and surprisingly, they never do it on the trucks. I just know it’ll eventually be a problem, and would rather have the piece of mind and do it right from the start. I’ll do more digging man. Thank you
