What’s the use case for red? Courtesy night mode like on a headlamp?

But going back to the cool 6500k. Does it have blue hues like in the photos?

Camping or hunting mostly, red doesn't attract the insects like white lights.

I’ve got an ARE topper with a textured fiberglass roof inside, no headliner. What would you recommend for a dual white/red kit that can mount on the topper? Truck does not have bed lights.

For a fiberglass shell you would need to use clear silicone (kitchen or bath type). Run a bead of it on the back of the light strips, place light strip on shell and apply 2" blue painters masking tape over the lights for 24 hours.

    Hey @mattgecko

Ordered a couple switches from you this week, my Alu Cab contour canopy has arrived and already came with lights. Just going to wire all three to a switch instead of trying to fumble around with their miniature on/off switches on each light. Is there a good area to ground near the rear of the truck that you can recommend? I'd rather not run a ground wire all the way to the battery if I could help it. Thought you might have a preferred location - thanks!

Either behind the taillight or you can use a self tapping screw under the truck.

    Hey Matt,

Interested in the softopper strips, but I'm concerned about being able to remove my softopper without undoing a lot of wiring. Is the softopper lighting assembly easily disconnected from the lower bed-lighting assembly?

You could always attach a set of plugs to it so when you remove the topper you can just unplug it. I did that with my Diamondback Cover, so if I ever need to take it off, I just disconnect my DT plug and yank it off.

The soft topper lights comes with crimp on quick disconnect plugs so it can be unplugged and folded down.

Dang. These look awesome. Considering the dual bed rail package. How easy is this for a complete idiot to install?

Thanks for the support and responsiveness, Matt!
The weather finally warmed up so I could complete my hood light install after doing the RSI/windoor lights a while back.
The dual lights are definitely worth it!

*engine bay wiring is a bit of a mess at the moment, I need to hook up my locker/airlines and power tray.

Softopper and bed light kit. Excellent kit, easy install, really impressed with the output of the lights.
