Got a few pieces welded up today. Making some pretty good strides towards the finished product. Thankful to @1 Bored Clerk for the CAD Files and @Simpleton for converting them for a 3rd Gen. hopefully this will all work out well. Had to get creative since there weren’t any shops close that had a bender for the plate.

 

Okay update and I’m getting closer to being done. Got a lot of the passenger side done now. Just need to add the last support tube and the bottom protection.

 

Ok update. The sliders are all welded up and painted. I need to add the non slip to the top of them and then mount them. Hopefully have them on in a few hours tomorrow.

 

Well after a year of the parts sitting in my garage I was able to get around to test fitting the parts for the bed rack in a mostly assembled state. .25”aluminum side plates, 1”x2” aluminum cross bars. Milled out the slots with my trim router. Still have to finish making the mounting brackets but it’s coming along.

Well I was able to get some time to finally weld up the brackets for the bed rack. Plus found this real sweet random bracket that I modified to fit my hand held radio.

 

Got some sweet progress done over the past few weeks. Almost ready to pull the bed rack for paint. Made the mounts for the hi lift jack, recovery boards, ax and shovel. Almost done with the mounting slot for the jack base.

 

The retro grill is honestly one of the coolest things I've ever seen on a Toyota truck. That is really awesome all around!!! Nicely done.

Finally got around to painting the roof rack and bedrack. Gonna do some assembly tomorrow then install later this week. Had to wet sand some high spots but overall it came out good

 

Well I got the roof rack finished up and my wife was kind enough to help me install it on the truck.

 

Got lucky in the hood swapping forum after 3.5 years. Swapped my flat hood for a sweet skewped hood. Got it home and pulled the bulge and painted it.

 

Added a cool topo map hood sticker to the new to me scooped hood.

 

Finished up my Bed stiffeners this weekend. ill install them tomorrow and get started on my next project. also I have to say this was a pain to cut out all the small triangles. glad its done though.

Well I haven’t posted to this in a while so time to update. I got myself a warn evo VR10S winch and realized I needed to modify either my core support or bumper winch mounting plate to get it to fit. In the process of that I ended up redesigning the whole front bumper. More pictures to follow as I start welding it up.
