You'll lose the outlet. I wanted both the outlet and the compressor. It was stupid that Toyota got rid of the precut cubby on the driver's side.

 

I agree. I don’t know why they got rid of the other cubby. Expedition Essentials does sell an item that moves the outlet over so that you don’t lose its use if you add the compressor there.

 

very nice build. how hard would it be to remove the metal bed cover if wanted to add a bed rack an roof top tent?
