Trick to Pulling Pins from Gen2 4wd Switch Plug

    Has anyone removed a wire from this plug? My 4Runner switch came with the plug and a wire harness and so I wish to pull two wires from the plug to repurpose in my Tacoma plug. I have tried putting a screwdriver in what appears to be the release slot below the plug hole to no avail.

    I received your conversation and am replying here because it makes more sense. The two pdf sent by Dm93 are much better than anything that I can provide. Most likely the screwdriver you are using is too wide and will not reach far enough in to release the pin.
