It's a crush washer right? They're usually a buck or two, I haven't replaced it on my oil pan but I've only done the rear diff so far. Spring will be fun - 60k gotta do everything :(

I ordered the bags of amsoil. I should have extra too, bought a case, not certain if it's the flame fluid for the infiniti though I believe it is as long as I'm not living in a hot climate

How many of y'all wanted a spring time undercoating? Trying to get a count and figure out a day, right now I'd be free April 1, 22, and 29th.

@ScottyStone half of the people in this thread don't own a Tacoma anymore

I can't say I disagree with your thoughts on the kimbo, at least. It's a bit heavy for a tacoma. Not that a tacoma can't handle some level of slide in, and heck, on the kimbo site the first image you see is one in a tacoma. But most of us (myself included) took a give-and-take approach. We drive a small (relatively) truck to be able to drive it wherever we want, meaning our sleeping/camping setups are tents/rooftop tents/gas stoves off the tailgates/etc. - unless you go for a trailer, which could work too.

I hear ya. Having some health issues and getting older the wife and I are looking for a bit more comfort and warmth, so that’s why some other options aren’t on the table.

I have a 2014 Tacoma short bed and love it for what we use it for. Really handy reliable and good gas mileage. It is a light duty truck though.

The “payload sticker” on the doors are the payload ya got left to work with.

    Come on Spring!!

I like that moonlander. I'm still trying to figure out my cheap cheap sleeping platform. Need to paint interior of my ARE cap

Nah - I get 23 highway with mine (stock wheels and tires helps me do such a thing). For a floating brick, that's not bad. My old mazda was 27 highway, and that was a hatchback sedan. Had the 2.5L and I drove it.....well, it was the sport trim, so, you know...sporty. :spy:

Is a trailer viable? Even a teardrop - you can pull 5k stock easy, I think limit is 6.2 or something like that. Not as convenient to pull up and "done" but, it'll be potentially cheaper, and tacoma capable.

    :spy:

yeah you said it was 1+N, my setup is good for 1+ dog without a fridge.

Stock wheels and tires, no lift, gentle on the skinny pedal (I usually sit 65-70), I've noticed the soft trifold tonneau helps but I might be making stuff up there. I had the chin splitter added on for my highway drive out to CA but didn't see THAT much of a difference, but it was free so whatever.

I have steel front and rear bumpers, sliders, skids, roof rack. I'm the poster child of how much wheels and tires effect your MPG :D

I see consistently high average MPGs from my diesel stupid duty, than I do from the Tacoma.
