Beautiful piece of Maple, would make a nice guitar top. Getting harder to find, and more expensive.

Welp, took dog on a walk on a trail that's leash only. A golden retriever off leash ran up to us with the owner nowhere in sight, and my dog broke his clasp on his collar trying to get at the golden. Luckily no injuries and I was able to catch my dogs backup collar after a couple seconds, but damn I almost crapped myself.

Is yours just super aggro at other dogs, or did the golden run up with attitude?

My dog is struggling with socializing. We adopted him from a shelter 6 months ago and it's been an uphill battle. He's alright with people, but other dogs he's very vocal towards. He didn't try to bite the golden, but he was trying to get on top of it in an aggressive manner. The golden was maybe a year old, roughly the same age as my dog, and was just looking to play.

That's the hope. We've been making sure to only take him places where leashes are required so when he does meet other dogs it can be controlled. Unfortunately people get the mindset of "my dog is well behaved, it doesn't need to be on a leash because it's friendly." They forget that not all other dogs are yet.

Aw. Sad face there. Keep at it and you'll get there. It just takes time and the right training.

He was sad because he didn't get to be let out of the truck and chase the skeet at the skeet range.

    Morning
On the other side of the fence today.
My cable keeps going out and a tech is coming this morning.
Like anything else, it’s working fine right now..
working from home has been impossible the last few days.
So it will be nothing wrong scenario I’m sure.
So, I’m anxious to see what part he wants me to replace in the house on my dime
When my system splits into 3 lines outside and it all goes down..

It’s the most expensive utility we have..
    And works the worse.

I wonder if yours is like my DSL. Every time the ground gets really wet (meaning every spring) my internet goes to poo because it's old copper lines and the pedestal is half underwater. To get mine fixed properly they'd have to plow in a few miles of new cable. If you're in an older area for your provider it may be something similar.

Hit this on the way home from work yesterday. Had the oil changed a few hundred miles before this, but I was glad to spot it and be able to pull over for a pic before it ticked by.
