We had to cut the arm out the way first, then cut the cam bolts. I still have one of those blades that I keep in my tool box at work.

Not surprising but I'll have electrical work to do along with helping others if needed.

    Battery terminals:

I plan to go with something like this potentially. Right now I have 2 things grounded to the frame, and only one thing tied to the + terminal (solar tender), but may look at expanding that with a radio, MAYBE a second radio (CB), direct to the battery. Point being - here's a way to just keep tapping into the terminals :D

I don't know about these specific chinesium ones, but the idea itself is what I'm after.

I can maybe help with that.
That would be stolen so damn fast.
It might be a worth a shot at putting in a separate fuse block for all those things. I ended up doing that and have extra spots left in mine.
Just don't look behind it, its a mess I need to clean up.
Brilliant indeed. But for 1$ each I would buy them all.

Everything has inline fuses as is. You aren't wrong, it's just an either-or situation. Flip a coin, especially since I'm looking at probably only 1 radio, the solar panel is inline fused and tied to the positive for charging, the switch panel is the other thing. Not much going on there, if I ran the radio through the switch panel I'd be mint - TBD if I decide to do that or not.

Sorry, I meant more for cleanliness. If you have all accessories hooked to the battery, it may not look good to you.

Do not, do not, do not go with this one. It is a great idea in theory but not an application. I have this one in my truck and it continues to be a pain in the ass. It is nice to be able to fit thicker gauge wire into it, but it is extremely impractical and any stress allows the wire to slowly sneak out of the socket. If you really want to get something for expansion, And I know that they are extremely expensive, but you really want to go with something that is going to be able to take multiple wires that can be bolted directly into the block that you put onto the terminal like the SDHQ terminal block.
    https://sdhqoffroad.com/products/sdhq-built-complete-billet-battery-terminal-kit

This is so you can individually crimp each wire correctly and then pulled it down directly to the terminal block itself.

Oh, yeah that's fair. That's why I'm thinking those terminals. They're (relatively) clean looking.

My engine bay is covered in mud, I'm not one to care for looks much.

    :D good to know!

As it is NOW it's fine, and if I just add one radio I SHOULD still be fine, so we'll see what ends up happening. Radio CAN go through the switch panel but I think I read that's a bad idea somewhere (even though it is clean power)

Just popped my auxbeam in, which fuse did you tap for accessory? I looked around and everyone said the 10a headlight fuse, but now I realize it's basically a switched circuit that only works when the headlights are actually on which is no bueno

oof, I can't remember. Let me go under there and check later.

    I THINK wiper.

Do you have a sunroof? If not, check that one - I can't remember the exact about it - yours in 2016 might be always hot, I think mine is keyed power for 2020+, unless you have a sunroof, in which case, that one will have a fuse in it.

I'm almost certain either the dash cam or the switch panel is off the wiper though.

You misspelled "those would be lost so damn fast"

If you want something inside, go for the power locks. Not sure re 3G but on 2G the cigarette lighter is a keyed item if that matters.
