2009 Access Cab V6 LED Exterior Lights Upgrade

    Hello and thanks in advance for your help. A while back I was going to replace my front headlight lenses and use LED bulbs for the burnt out bulbs in the front. Not sure if those are the blinkers or DRL (Daytime Running Lights) but the were for the orange ones in the front that burn out the lenses. I never made the switch but now I'm looking at replacing both front lamp housings and converting all lamps (headlights, turn signal, DRL) to LED and I'd like to know which ones need resistors. I'm looking at these headlights:

    I already have 2 of the antline 3157 from the previous project so I was thinking of keeping the same brand.

    I also have 4 50W60OHMJ resistors (copper color with red wires) from the original project.

    Do I need to wire resistors for all the lamps or just the turn signal lamps? I found a forum post describing where to put the resistors for the turn signal lamps but I didn't find one for the DRL or headlight lamps. I thinking that since they're not flashing I may not not need to use a resistor.

    Please do not put those "H4" LED retrofit bulbs in. There is an excellent and up-to-date 2nd gen headlamp and bulb testing thread sticki3d at the top of this forum. Read through the forst cpuple of posts.

    Thanks for the information on the headlight upgrade. I will replace with non-led bulbs as recommended.

    As one who has tried using the LED bulbs in the headlights I would definitely steer you away from it. Terrible
