Hey Eric, thanks for the follow up, I appreciate your reply and apologize for the exasperated tone of my initial post, I was obviously pretty upset and did not deal with it constructively. I'm glad you're offering a replacement, however I'm afraid I will have to pass, as I am honestly not a fan of the design and am going to look for something else. Specifically, I've got 2 Wavian jerry cans and they do not fit that great in the carrier. The only way I can get them to fit is with the spouts exposed, which ends up getting so much dust in them that I am concerned about my fuel filter each time I need to top off the gas, something that covers the entire top of the cans would be better in my opinion. Additionally, I really, really, want something that can be locked, Seattle has a lot of crackheads :) I certainly encourage you to update the design, thanks!

Thanks for coming back in and replying, apology accepted. :)
I already updated the hinge setup for the lid (as well as our swing arm camp tables) this week, but if you feel the design of the holder falls short for you still then no worries. I am curious why the Wavian cans wont fit in there with the spout facing in; everything I can find in regard to images of those cans online leads me to believe they should fit in both orientations. Granted I don't have one in front of me to test, but I want my fuel can holder to be as universal as possible. I've even seem some guys fill the jerry can box with a few Rotopax. The cross pin that secures the lid should accept a small padlock to secure the fuel inside for you as well.

So I was able to get them to technically "fit" with the spout facing in, after kneeling on it to get the pin through, however it cracked the spout on one of the cans so I quit. I was wondering if the intent was to put a lock into the cross pin but the hole appears to be ~1/8th of an inch, and in the stolen catalytic converter capital of the USA a luggage lock is not going to cut it, I'd like for them to at least have to be toting around some bolt cutters, preferably a sawzall or grinder.

EDIT: I dislike you're only hearing gripes so I thought I would come back and say I'm loving the bumper itself so far. It seems super stout, although I have not had enough time to give it any proper abuse, I definitely think the truck will break before the bumper.

Ok so essentially the holder just needs to be a small amount taller to accommodate the Wavians, got it. Good info.
Yeah, lock through the cross pin in between the holder and the tire. It should be a 1/4" hole for a small lock, could probably pry it open fairly easily but it would still be a bit of a deterrent is the intention and not easily accessible with power tools to cut the lock. Thieves like things easy and fast usually.

Thanks for the Edit there, good to hear the bumper itself has been working as expected.
