FYI for those with older clamps. Got this today.

    Hello from Super Pacific!

So it’s taken us a minute to get all the details ironed out, but we're happy to (finally!) release the new V3 C-channel Bedrail Clamps to our existing X1 customers. With this new clamp release we wanted review your camper mounting options, and give you a chance to get your hands on the new clamps if you'd like them.

Here's a quick recap of mounting options:
Most campers work great with the mounting setup that they were installed with. If you are satisfied with your camper’s existing mounting method you can simply continue adventuring as you have been, there’s nothing more to do.
For certain models you have the option of through-bolting the camper directly to your truck’s bed rails. Direct bolting is available for the following models:
    • Toyota Tacoma Gen 1 (1995-2004)
    • Toyota Tundra Gen 1 (2000-2006)
    • Ford F150
    • Ford Ranger
    • Chevy / GMC |Colorado / Canyon
    • Chevy / GMC |Silverado / Sierra
    • Ram 1500
    • Ram 2500
    • Jeep Gladiator
    [IMG]
The newly designed V3 Bedrail Clamps are constructed of laser-cut & formed stainless steel. They offer a more robust mounting method for anyone doing more serious adventuring in their campers.

C-Channel Style: Designed to work with trucks that have c-channels in the truckbed.
    • Toyota Tacoma Gen 2 & Gen 3 (2005-Current Year)
    • Toyota Tundra Gen 2 & Gen 3 (2007-Current Year)
    • Jeep Gladiator *WITH factory installed Trail Rails.
    ORDER V3 CLAMPS HERE
    COMPLIMENTARY V3 UPGRADE:

The following truck models are eligible to receive the V3 clamps at no charge, plus shipping and handling, upon request.

Your truck is eligible if your camper is NOT currently bolted AND is one of the following models:
    • Toyota Tacoma Gen 2 (2005-2015)
OTHER FITMENTS: If you have a fitment other than those listed above and have been in contact with us previously about any issues with your bedrail clamps, reach out to us directly to receive your complimentary upgrade.
UPGRADE: If your truck is eligible for the complimentary upgrade, please reply to this email or call (971) 357-2513
If you have further questions regarding your camper mounting options, feel free to reach out, we're happy to help.

    Thank you!

That sucks, but awesome Bamf is taking care if you! My spindle snapped off once from my swing out. Hair line crack in the metal luckily it happened on trail and not on the highway.

He said it's only the 2nd instance he's seen. He's revising the design and beefing that section going forward. Just 35s and beating on it.

Hi there @99ranged do you recall which transparent cover you used for diffusing the extrusion led’s? I’m planning to use the same lights and don’t even have a clue where to begin looking for diffusers that would fit inside the channels. You still digging the setup? Thanks so much in advance if you happen to recall. Cheers

yes I’m still liking this set up! I also used a diffuser to hide wires up there. It took a little bit of time to force it in to the slot but it works.
I used the diffusers that came in this kit:

They don’t fit unfortunately. I tried it but the hardkorr lights were too tall I believe. I bought that kit for a different project and found out the diffusers fit the super pacific slots.

    Rear window leaking:
I had been having problems with the rear window leaking. The gasket had shrunk and there was a gap.
I tried to use caulk, but no luck.

So I contacted SP and scheduled some time to go up there (I am about 1.5 hours south).

They have a new type of burlier gasket. Because it wouldn't fit with the original plexiglass, they cut a new piece and installed it with the new gasket.
They're also adhering the ends of the gasket so it can't skrink and create a gap. I waited while they did it. Took about 2 hours. They didn't charge me.
New gasket looks great and appears to work fine (no leaks). I am a happy camper.

While I was there, I asked about insulation since I use my X1 in the snow & cold frequently.
They are coming up with a design that sounds really effective and could be ready for next winter.

Hot damn I made it through all 361 pages of this thread!

So much good info, great to follow the evolution of the X1 via the folks here, and excited to get my camper installed on the 27th this month.

Thanks everyone for all of this, and hey, it's my first post too!

I'm due for a visit for my rear window as well.

The insulation kit is going to be pretty sick. I've seen some teasers and I love where Pete is going with the design.
