I have a 2023 Tacoma TRD Pro and a 2018 Forest River Wildwood 207BH camper (dry weight 3,319 pounds, hitch weight 440 pounds) that I towed a handful of times in the past with a Ford F150 FX4. It won't have much extra in it for either trip. We don't carry water or even use the bathroom in it or anything like that.

Any advice or thoughts? Anything I should expect or look out for? My F150 pulled the trailer like a dream. For the foreseeable future, my towing will consist of pulling the camper to a spot about 180 miles away in the spring and then making the return trip in the fall. It stays put all summer. It's almost entirely flat and mostly highway towing.

Thanks in advance for the advice. Appreciate it!

Shouldn’t be any problem at all. That is a relatively short trip and only towing 2x year and no hills or mountains, highway travel . You are well within the various Taco weight ratings. Just do it and enjoy.

I would recommend anti-sway of some sort just in case of crosswinds, passing, or being passed by semis. I find it helps towing my 17’ Casita.

Yessir! Should have mentioned that I had one of those. Wouldn't travel without it. Thanks!

My travel trailer is similar in weight. You'll be fine with a good WDH with sway control. Use S4 but can switch to S5 down hill and maybe flat roads.
