I have finally got my shop door openers installed, I went with Marantec openers. They are only compatible with their own remotes or Homelink. So instead of having 2 openers (one for shop one for house garage) I started to do some digging around, looks like a few people have custom added Homelink. I started looking at the over head console from a 4Runner non sunroof. Between the map lights they have 3 Homelink buttons. A guy on offer up locally to me has the console just waiting on price. Looks like the lights are the same size and are held in by a plastic melted style rivet. Has anyone tired this?

I have the same opener and I used a bobs mirrors setup for mine. Homelink is in the mirror.

I took some measurements tonight off the wife’s 4Runner. It won’t work, 4Runner is shorter than the Tacoma. I will have to either add the mirror option or cut one in.
