searched & didnt get a bit on this in the 1st gen section.

anybody got a good fix for the wing windows? both of mine have the latches busted & they let air noise in...

aftermarket part? something someone here sells? Tip? trick?

my hearing aides go crazy with wind noise. they either cancel it & everything else out or they magnify it.

yeah isaw them that way, but thank you for a better price/link!

still trying to learn how you guys do things here. it seems like for the toyotas that is pretty much a = buy the new parts thing so far.

ive already done the headlights, bumper, hitch, frame patching & so on

most other forums they usually have "sellers/Vendors" that offer their products or guys are really into making them. & with this 3d printing thing going so wild... figured there might have been another solution.

I have these, but I haven't installed them yet. Probably this weekend now that the weather is warmer. Will post pics when it's done.

Grandson broke one side for me one day, pushed too hard on the window. I went for that same aluminum upgrade, I think I got them off eBay.

got these installed just a bit ago. super easy & if you follow that dudes video..... goes right together.

got a really good seal on the windows now & no more flopping around. will road test to see if that cut the air noise out.

Tip: learned while doing it that if you want your window "tighter" you can bend the metal bracket IN. dont go "he-man" on it... i just stuck a crescent wrench on it & gave it just enough bend to know that it moved. do this when the bracket is EMPTY!!
