I randomly found this sucker dangling and making a clicking noise like it was arcing or something….. I couldn’t find a spot to plug it in and my googling was fruitless. I’m probably lacking common sense but what is this for? It looks like it goes up and into or through the firewall or something and also maybe not.

Fairly sure thats the radio antenna. Do you have an aftermarket radio?

Looks like one end of the Antenna wire for the radio, there should be another end that plugs into that end.
    Does the radio work?

Ooooh that makes sense why it leads towards the antenna then you guys rock I was paranoid it was something important a passenger kicked out with their feet or something LOL. The radio works mostly fine a little fuzzy but I’m replacing it soon anyways so I can Bluetooth my own jams and have apple car play n stuff anyways so I’ll just ignore on this dangler for now

It's the stereo antenna coax. There should be a male plug close by. That doesn't directly connect to the receiver another portion does.
