Also, some dude on the megathread blew a bunch of fuses with his TRS harness which joins all grounds together so if you get the H9 or H11 wrong it’ll pop that fuse. No melting reported. I think fuses blow fast when shorted to ground.

Think distance. Most think they are wiring a 50' vessel or a house.

    I have the OEM LEDs at 2.34A @ 13.8v low beam, and 1.41A @ 13.8v high beam, for a combined 3.75A @ 13.8v or about 31w combined per lamp.

Note that H9s are spec'd at 65w, but there is a +/- 15% allowance in that spec. The OEM Philips H9s bulbs used by Toyota peg that spec to the max and come in just shy of 75w.

OK, time to discuss the specific vulnerabilities of the eBay harness I recommend in the first post. It seems the terminals used in the MX-150 connector are different enough to potentially cause trouble.

I just don't see it though, they look so close in size that I can't see why one would be troublesome and the other not.

The solo terminal is mine as is the white w black crimped one.

On another note: The SR has the circuit to the LED DRL ground pin:

It does not have the terminal in the 1F connector but the Main Body ECU has. Finding what type terminal is required to populate the connector is in the works. Still need to tap the rear turns for proper function since shutting down the DRL on the Head Unit will also shut down the 30_1F.

C10 T (Rear Turns) would be very helpful for those doing the OEM LED Headlight add.
    Edit corrected:

Terminal to 1F_30 and 2 options for missing fuse terminal.

This is for TRD. I will update the title.

    From the first post:

If you have an SR / SR5, refer to this thread for your harness needs, it's more involved due to the combination of DRL and Turn on each side for SR and SR5 trim levels(no dedicated ECU DRL signal available).

Damn I thought I had found a write up to make a SR5 harness.
