Just got my 2023 OR after totaling my 2013 (not my fault), and now that I know how the 110v outlet works (with the truck running), I cannot think of a single thing this feature could be useful for.

Does anyone have any good ideals?

    Per other threads I've seen
Drill - mine is cordless as is 99% of everyone else
Buffer - since I'm in or near the garage, just plug in to the garage outlet
Air compressor - the 12V direct to battery is better anyways
small fridge - well, maybe? but it won't be on anymore once I'm at the river
tailgate party- again, I'm not going to sit there with the truck running. I'll just use a Honda generator.

Plug in the charger to your cordless tools and charge the batteries while driving to a location. Otherwise I do think they are gimmicky and Toyota should have put in electric tailgate locks instead.

Battery charger if you drive around a lot between sites, can help top-off your tools.

I've put a small crockpot back there so food would be hot after a drive to the camp site. Felt a little weird.

I've had my truck for 7 years and I've used the outlet once.

I've also had one in my truck/vehicle for over 7 years...and I've never tried it on anything I've had with it. That said, I do like that it's there for some strange reason. Like, I'm always convinced that some day I will be happy I have it.

That's what mine is used for...

    But not just that.

I did the 400w mod and tapped into the inverter to put in a combination 110v plug with USB chargers into the back of the center console. This gives multiple USB ports in the back of the cab as well as a regular 110v outlets for more USB chargers or for things like a laptop.

Post 2. Charge tools to and from the job. This is after all a truck.

For glamping get a Honda 2200 generator.

Very useful when needed for the right things.

It works great for inflating tow tubes for the kids on the boat.

I use it to power low draw things like:
    Charging Batteries or battery devices.
    Running Compressor.
    LED work Lights
Carpet fan. (With short extension cord)

it’s useful if you understand its limitations.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
    I've used mine for:
    - Inflating the air mattress for sleeping under the cap.
    - Using a small coffee maker (requires resetting the breaker 2-3 times).
    - Charging my tablet.
    Otherwise it's not very useful.

Carpet Fan. Just a more powerful fan. Use it at work and when outside in the summer.
