Sure i' m late on this thread for seat covers but i purchased these seat covers and i like them. https://www.amazon.com/Tomatoman-20...749&sprefix=tacoma+seat+covers,aps,750&sr=8-8

    Pros: leather-ish; slide well.
Cons: They don't cover all of the seat.
The clips the give you don't stay in place.
Headrest covers are weird; i used only front seat.
Now that i am weighting the pros and cons i would look for something else. Disregard this suggestion.

I just looked into this, my biggest qualm right now is the mount on the negative battery terminal mount, how long have you had this installed? Have you noticed a negitive effect from the install? I open my hood frequently.

They look great. These have been on my list for a while now.

Yesterday I was putting a new seal on my bed cover. When I was done I pulled the hood release and popped the hood open, closed it and opened it again. Just ‘cause. :D

I can see myself doing the same. I still go out just to look at the truck.

Agreed, but the more power compared to the old is much more drivable. I don't even know how I'll feel if I get the tune and theres reduced delays in the shifting.

This one came with Apple Carplay and I'm getting accustomed to that. My last Taco didn't even have Bluetooth on the stereo, let alone a touch screen in the center console. I've moved so far into the future with this new one that I still keep reaching for the brake lever and putting keys in steering column to start it. Neither of these things apply to this new Tacoma. I'm throughly impressed, Adaptive cruise control is amazing. I'll just say that.

Really wireless Apple carplay? I bought mine in November 22 and had to use the USB for android.

I've spent a bunch of money on our Taco both for looks and drivability. The OTT performance tune is the best money I've spent on it by far! Cannot recommend it enough. Read all about it here:

No unfortunately not the wireless, just wired. But its much better than not having anything at all. I've been in a base model 12 year old (2010) Tacoma until 3 May 2023. Its like the future just exploded in my face.

You can add a wireless Car Play adapter. No more plugging and unplugging your phone. More here:

I'm trying to figure out how to best mount my phone. What I need is to mount an Iphone Mini 13 with SpConnect+ case to vehicle. Heres what I'm thinking.

Pro Clip USA Dash Mount or Caliraised Dash Accessory for the mounting point.

From there if I can get it to a 25mm ram ball mount I can connect it my phone with the SPconnect Ram ball accessory.
Still trying to figure out if there are compatible arms and Ram Ball mounts for the dash end of the system.

I'm limited to the Spconnect system because my phone case is SPconnect along with all of the bicycle accessories I have. Can't leave the ecosystem once they have you. But it seems like there are some options for connecting to Ram Ball which gives me a little more flexibility. But ideally I will be using the SPconnect on the phone case to keep the clutter down.

I have this rack installed and I like it; it's very flush and out of the way. I opted for the additional "Tackform Phone Mount and 3.5in Arm(+$39.99)" and use the mount my radar detector. Tackform has so many accessory mounts, you will find whatever you need.

@Irishblessing did you get the Caliraised rack? I can't tell from your post which rack you are talking about.

I only had 1 flap rip off in deep snow, I reinstalled it with extra screws. Otherwise I have no complaints and I take my truck off-road often.

Sorry should have clarified; Yes I bought the Cali Raised Rack. I looked around for multiple racks and found this one to be the most visually aesthetic as well as functional, being that they teamed with Tracform for their mounts.

NP. After looking at things closer and actually getting my truck I see why those don't fit and I don't think it's possible to make it larger like the Auto. The whole cutout is already the width of the cup opening.

    Interesting. Thanks for sharing.
