So I'm at the Wilbraham Hillclimb this morning and what do I see....

Howdy everyone.

Was volunteering at at Taekwondo tournament all morning. Finally got home around 2 and been relaxing since.

 

That was the series before. Now they're playing the Rays.

 

Judge ripped one when I was catching late lunch! Hope it holds.

 

They won 9-8 somehow. Just like they somehow won yesterday.

It's looking rough this year.

 

Woke up early this morning, did laundry then started to feel like crap. Better now.
Went to Autozone to pick up some touch up paint. Filed and painted the hole going into the cab for my wires, waiting for the paint to dry so I can install the harness.

 

Mowed my lawn yesterday. Today used the Taco to transport said lawn mower to mow the parents lawn. Somehow it expanded into 7 hours of cutting hedges too.
Not my favorite vacation activities, but what'cha gonna do?.

Going to clean the house, then do some truck work later.
Itching to get the compressor today, hopefully before the sun goes down so I can install it. If not, I'll be doing that tomorrow while on lunch break.

Forgot to bring my drill bits home, going to see what HF has.

Today's adventure I was over in Danbury my buddy showed up with his Tacoma and he mentioned that he had to change the squirrel cage and when he changed it it was totally filled up with well you guess anything that got past the filter however he didn't know he had a filter we took it apart today and pine needles acorn nuts Etc and he had already put on the intake screen a couple years ago but he never cleaned out below that well now the blower motor cage was so impacted it wouldn't turn over you know how it is overheated doesn't work anymore he Let the Smoke Out well he's on the road to a breath of fresh air so to speak he'll clean out the remainder of the pine needles acorn nuts Etc and breathe a little easier from now on so just a friendly reminder check your cabin air filter when you get a chance you never know what's in there

Added a switch and trimmed the plastic part that slides back and forth. Now it only hits the switch when I move the shifter to L.

Busy day. Wife did a 5k in the am, then off to Sharon CT right after for the kiddo's game, then home to mow the lawn.

Finally "slowing down".

That is sick! But definitely not quite ready for that just yet.

 

Couldn’t mount the compressor. Have to tap the holes. Taps are at work. I’m going to modify the ARB harness so it’s cleaner.

 

What are you using for the battery ends? I have a twin I've been dragging my feet on installing and need to crimp some connectors on my harness still

 

Never seen anything like that, it's a great concept

 

I'll be using some generic un-insulated crimp terminals with the proper size hole for the battery terminal stud. I'll stop in to my local hardware store and grab a couple. Maybe Autozone or Advance if the hardware store doesn't have the correct size. Something like this:

Even tough they are not insulated, I'll be using marine heat shrink on them.
