Smittybilt RTT with FrontRunner Quick Release Brackets

    2019 Tacoma TRD Off-Road 4x4 Double Cab
    Hello everyone,

    Just installed a Smittybilt Gen 2 non XL tent onto a Frontrunner universal bed rack. I also used the front runner quick release mount with the RTT. This was a little tricky since the directions were a smig a unclear. I wanted to share some pics :)


    This comes tightened together, losen the 2 bolts attached to open


    Slide into the Smittybilt rack


    This was as far as I can slide the bracket to the outer bolts on the railings.

    *Just ensure you know which side or where you want you entrance to be , then figure out the Right Hand side and Left Hand side.

    Exactly what I was looking for, I will be installing my smittybilt tent on my 4runner using these mounts in a couple weeks when it finally comes in. Thanks for posting this as it confirms it will actually all work together
