Maxxis RAZR AT in E and SL

3 of mine got delivered today…

 

I’ve got the P285/70/17 due to arrive Thurs at Discount Tire here in KC and they matched Walmart’s price.

Now just need to sell my set of brand new in box 16” Method NV305’s.

285/70 17 SL on Sema Pro wheels. You rascals caused me to spend more money.. Lol! Drives really smooth.

 

How are these performing for everyone? Wear, off road and on road traction, snow, rain?

 

Traction in all conditions has been great. On my heavy Suburban they are wearing just a bit faster than I'd like, but not terribly. They are still very quiet, possibly the quietest all terrain I've ever run.

 

I'm strongly considering getting these. If they offer an sl in the size I want then the deal is all but done

I’ve been doing a lot of research on the Maxxis ATs in preparation for my next tire purchase and I just came across this video from a couple of years ago. Man, if I wasn’t sold before. I’ve never seen a tire literally dissected and explained like this before.

@Evostaco - U may be in luck obtaining 265/75/16 SL Razr AT if post #514 is accurate.

 

I emailed them as well, the reply claimed that they will offer them around the end of 2023

 

P285/70/17’s mounted up. Thanks to Discount Tire in Olathe, KS.

 

Been rolling on 35x12.50R18LT 128Q F-Load AT-811's for a few thousand miles now - Love em. Quiet, grippy, smoov, 50k warranty. Far nicer of a ride than my previous Federal M/Ts.

Only downside is those MT's didn't pick up endless pebbles like the ATs, but I think that just comes with any AT tire.

 

Is anyone finding a decent deal on these for 285/75/16?

 

I’ve been looking around and everywhere seems to be about the same price. Definitely cheaper than all the big brands but I can’t find any one website that has them super cheap.

I usually see some good deals on the Walmart website but they don’t seem to have the AT 811 at all.

Got these off simpletire on sale size 265/70R17 for $178 a tire. So far they’re definitely quieter than the wildpeaks were, and more resistant to hydroplaning. If they hold up long term it seems like a good value option for AT’s.

 

My 285s are still holding up great after 6 months. They got me up one of the rockiest trails in Colorado (Hermit Pass) without issue, only had one minor slip after it started raining at the top.
