Bought this 2002 Tacoma in 2022 and drove 3 hours home from basically Vermont. All struts were blown, braking was questionable and it suffered from serious hesitation issues. My plan is to continue buying, and not building.

The eyes got, I started on going through and fixing most everything. Made some bad progress in short time, eventually received a passing inspection sticker for my troubles. Uppers were chonked so I grinded mad hella and beat them with a hammer and eventually didn't bend the metal.

Decided I didn't like the sloppiness of a regular upper balljoint so naturally I fabricated some with urethane inserts. Actually been driving them hard for hundreds of miles, at speeds of up to 80mph with zero issue. Terrain includes snow covered pothole filled backroads, highway with failing bridge joyces, and glass smooth tarmac. The internet smokes weed, and weed kills your braincells. Don't read the internet and don't do drugs.

It wasn't total chaos, it was mild at worst.

At this point I thought the truck wasn't worth salvaging, so I called around to local junkyards. The price of scrap has been down for a while, so the best they could give me was the weight of it multiplied by inflation. I didn't do the math.

I decided to keep it, and simply move forward modifying it like I was 17 years old again (I'm not 17 anymore). This happened too:

Testing plow setup with illumination, the color yellow is easier for one's eye to see cast against white snow. Yields great results during the winter season in Maine, based dawn what.

"YA SEE SON, YA SEE?! SON YA SEE?!"

I especially like the way my truck looks, with the homesteader plow setup attached, parked on the tarmac, in my yard, it's a proud sight to behold:

Some more rather interesting images of my truck parked in the yard. These are back from when I was still trying to figure out my life. Butttttt I figured it out:
    IMG-6567.jpg
    IMG-6570.jpg
There's something special about how this one looks from the rear, backed up against the jdm maple and I don't know why.

After the divorce was finalized and I became burdened with debt I had to make the choice to keep the truck, or sell it. I didn't have a choice, but I had to choose to sell it.
    IMG-6918.jpg

Heres an image of when I took my wife out for one of the last times in the Tacoma to see the lights up in Boothbay Harbor:*
*EDIT: Scratch that, it wasn't the Tacoma that I took my wife out in, it was the Lexus. My memory can be kinda fuzzy sometimes.
    IMG-6770.jpg
    It was pretty spectacular.

I ended up buying the truck back and having the divorce papers annulled, all anal a pretty lengthy process. The whole thing taking up to 7 months, and spending close to $7,000 dollars!

These are areas that I should have focused on, but instead I bought decals and various shades of black spray paint. Then I got my legs cut off in South Africa...

I've done a lot of shaving lately in prep for the upcoming talent show:
    IMG-7072.jpg IMG-7080.jpg IMG-7081.jpg
Such a clean shave, I scaled back but couldn't find any dampness. Guess I wasn't trying hard enough (but what happens when it's not enough?).

Exterior looks arrived on my list of things to do, after several complaints of visual rust. I couldn't find any until I looked really hard:

Bedliner most of the things, you won't thank me, but you won't ragret it either.

Parked again until the next update:
    IMG-7113.jpg

    Next:
    -Shackles, bushings
    -Weld rear diff plate
    -Box in c-channels
    -Seam stitch
    -Add black spray paint
    -Etc.

My lightbar and pods showed up today from Exodust Engineering! I'm so excited to install them! I just don't have the heart to ask around to see if anyone has done it to this generation before. Eventually, I doubt I'll figure it out and have the courage to ask someone out in the open more experienced on how to do it.

    *Not a side note:
"IT" was a long, tenuous, mature novel written by Stephen King (along with many contributors), but I've never read it before today. Today was the day I read that novel, and I found it to be fascinating. Lots of plot twists, buddy also forgot about reading the novel today as well. I have short term memory loss and long term memory loss, so I have no idea where I'm at in terms of remembering anything. If only I could get back that part of my life, but the novel by Stephen King "IT" also begs the question, did I ever even have a life before reading "IT"?

(This is the part where there's a moral.)

    We have lights:
I couldn't find anything on the internet about mounting the Exodust Engineering lights, yet despite the absence of strangers on the web coming to my rescue I managed to get them secured somehow.

    IMG-7130.jpg

I'm happy with the angle I achieved with the pods. They should throw some light on the sides, and function pretty great for future plowing endevours.

Fixed into the grille, where they should be (take note of the bottle of piss in my basket. Hey when you gotta go, you gotta go. I need to HYDRATE!):

    IMG-7131.jpg

I think I'm the first to mount a 20 incher this way.

    IMG-7132.jpg

You can see my halo, and that's about all you can see. I also mounted my summer wheel/tire setup, but they're only 27's so I didn't feel compelled to take any pix. The plasti-dip is starting to peel off the wheels, but I think I'll leave them alone until they existentially come un-cunted.

I'd like to take a moment in the space provided to thank my truck sponsors, my inspirations, the winners, the losers, the fans, the enemies, the real ones, the fake ones, etc.

I couldn't have done it without you, and I couldn't have made myself without your help, and for that we thank you.

I found some heim'd endlinks in my shop that looked like they would fit my truck, so I decided to bristle brush them to bare metal and paint them white:

    IMG-7134.jpg

The reason that white was chosen is that if there was a crack in them, I would be able to detect it better then if they were black (or any other color). WR Blue was a second option, but it was too expensive.

    Shout out to my relatives!
