Trying out another set of tires. Cooper STT Pro. Hoping they will float like my ST Maxx do but have alittle more bite like my Toyo Mt. Same 295/70-17 as the others. They are a set of takeoffs i got cheap so i figure it was worth a shot. IMG_1709.jpgIMG_1710.jpg

Started tearing into the truck. And this list is:
    -radiator and fans
-fix broken header collector and redo some exhaust
-weld cracks/ plate and add a cross tube on frame where engine cage lands
    -fix coilover retab control arm
-add more engine cage and coil bucket/ bump stop bracing. Doubt i will have time to move bumps to upper but possibly.
-new seal on the rack that decided to start leaking.
Figured i would put this here so maybe i will actually fix it and remeber what needs to be done

New pulleyboys 2.1 supercharger pulley. We will see if it last longer than the URD 2.1.

So I thought the Pulleysboys pulley was going to be steel but after receiving it I realize its aluminum. After looking on there site it says it is : Made from hard anodized 6061 T6 billet aluminum.

Anyone else think they were steel? Maybe that was a long time ago when I think they only made a 2.0, or at least that is all people talked about.

It does feel harder than the URD one but time will tell I guess.

The list of broken parts were:
    Axle shaft
Broke the end of the spindle snout
The shocks mounts are tearing off the truss.

If you want to see we repair it in this video.

It is the start of another dune season here. So for I replaced my Uniballs, Balljoints, and Tierod ends. Didn't get time to address much else. Next is new seals in the steering rack and a new powersteering pump. I am also going to have to make some mounting changes to my radiator.

Anyhow a video from the weekend.
