    Put it all back together to wheel last weekend as the snow was basically gone. Solid end to the snow season. We connected a couple mountain ridges we’ve been looking at doing for 2 years now. A solid 8 or so hours of crawling.

    Sent the front third back to ECGS for repairs, now to find some wheels for my 37” trail grapplers for summer and put the mud grapplers away.

    37s installed, front axle back together! Took it on its first drive on the highway last night and was pretty happy. Needs the alignment double checked but drives great!

    anyone have any washer bottle recommendations? Things are tight in the engine bay. Not looking to drop $150cad on a scarab bottle and mount. Tried a smaller dorman one but it’s still too big

    Drill Hole for oem washer pump
    Re-use grommet and pump, all wiring will already reach as well.

    Visit your local home improvement. I made a washer bottle a few years ago out of 2.5"OD PVC pipe that is 12" in length with a 45° elbow and placed it by the intake/radiator. Worked fine and sold out with the truck. Cost me maybe 20 buck for glue, pvc, enclosed cap, and a threaded end with cap.

    I’m using tmr brackets mostly. I built a couple of my own and built my own links. 63s rear with tmr parts

    Wanna double that set and send them on down to NC for me cause I really dont wanna pay for the kits i'm seeing and really want to like one for once lol....... I did buy a set of axles, front is TG fab housing,4;88s elocker longs etc

    Truck looks great man, im hoping the AA adapter I bought from a buddy is the correct one now after looking at yours.....I have 2.7 but bought A340F trans to swap(since mines prerunner)..... would like to do the same setup on 35s for now.....

    Setting up the geometry is the hardest part that takes the longest, as well as fine tuning to get every possible 1/4” of up travel. There was points where I considered buying the 4wu kit but my wallet wouldn’t let me. Their stuff sure is well thought out though and very pretty. If I didn’t have to pay an outrageous exchange rate I would have bought it just to save time.

    Yes sir that makes sense for sure and figure that what's you're mainly paying that big price for, design etc. Its just a crazy high price seems like to me for a kit even though I have a few buddies running them, blows mu budget up thats for sure.

    Haven’t got out wheeling much this summer, mostly just been dailying the truck to work and hauling bikes around. Besides some tire shakes, the truck is solid! One thing that bugs me is when I have my drivers window rolled down i smell the transfer cases gear oil venting. Not sure where to start there. Also Need to cut out the inner fenders so I can get all my up travel back on the front, but that will be a fall project.

    After being a bit burnt out from building and taking a pretty good break I got back at it and started building some rock sliders yesterday. Always tricky to get back into tube bending after taking a break

    Well I had my first failure. Noticed I’ve been getting quite a bit of torque steer. Forgot I was working with a thin Toyota frame, should have made this plate a lot bigger to distribute the load of the anti wrap better. So now is a good time to down the truck and get the sliders installed, and maybe do the inner fender work/battery relocation and air box delete to get the uptravel I worked so hard for in the front, tired of riding bumps all the time.

    Borrowed a buddies tube notcher to finish these sliders. Quite enjoyable when you’re not grinding to notch every piece of tube.

    Repaired the cracked part of the frame this morning. Cut it out, put a patch plate in and then did a fish plate with 4 holes for rosette welds.

    And people wonder why toyota frames rust, I can’t believe the amount of dirt I’ve pulled out of this frame so far. May cut open the driver side to empty it out too. IMG_2387.jpgIMG_2397.jpg

    For additional strength you could tie that connection point into the crossmember in front of it. That's typically how I've seen traction bars mounted on these trucks

    That’s my plan as there’s no real better way to brace it to counteract the torque it’s seeing without building a new crossmember or something.

    Met up with some buddies that were camping this weekend and did a day trip, no wheeling just checking out the scenery.

    Always have had some back problems but these seats in this truck are killing my lower back. What are the best options for replacement seats, or is it worth having these ones re foamed? Or go straight to an aftermarket suspension seat? I would like reclining and a huge bonus would be heated. I had prp comp elites in my jeep so I know I like the way the prp feel, but I don’t want to have a very high side bolster to get over. IMG_2472.jpg IMG_2474.jpg

    I really like my mastercraft baja RS seats. nice height bolters that aren't a pita to get in and out of
