I don't feel so bad. I started this stupid thing on Apr 14th and palletizing it now. I thought I had been working on this thing waaaaaaayyyy longer than that

Air filter and muffler turned out okay, at least as good as all the ones the previous technician built

Even the economy EVs have a high price all things considered. And buying used is a major concern and I don't think the data is in yet on what a realistic "lifespan" is for an EV. ICE's are pretty much proven that 200k miles at this point, maybe even more. But what is the equivalent for an EV. Is buying an EV with 100k miles equivalent to an ICE with 200k? How much life expectancy is there mile wise? It certainly an interesting thought experiment to me.

I just put new shocks in hood. What a pain in the ass to have bad shocks and no hood prop.

One if the first things I did along with Heater Ts. I probably should order some for the LC. It needs heater Ts too.

Don't forget the rear hatch; that gets opened more often than the hood (or should in theory at least)

Did that too. lol. Its the rear "hitch" I don't have but I guess its better to know your truck wasn't a tow pig. At 250+ I think the hood may get more action.:rofl::rofl:

Yep. That's the plan. The LX has all new hoses and metal Ts. I'm going to run a single hose across the heater ports so the engine can be run after I move the hoses. I was pricing out the Ts and hoses and it was going to run will over $200.

Results may vary. I went for metal Ts.

Cool. Thanks. My brain is in music mode but I will watch in a bit. Im assuming I have to take all the shit apart that I just took apart. lol

Oh in engine bay. Ok cool.

Mine didn't have a gasket. I was wondering about that. As soon as I loosened screws water came out. fml

Probably. I've replaced 2 gaskets. Once you get in the swing of working under the dash it ain't so bad. Just get a good #2 JIS driver and some 10mm sockets.

This Vessel #2 driver will change your whole Toyota experience.

They really still didn’t have a cabin air filter on the 100 series?

LX has them. I don't know why the LC didn't.
